“Last Man Standing” to recast two roles for season 7

After being off the air for over a year, it is no surprise that some changes were going to happen for Last Man Standing. It was announced today that the Tim Allen led sitcom will see two roles recast before the show’s revival this fall.

Original cast member Molly Ephraim and Flynn Morrison have opted to not return as Mandy and Boyd Baxter, respectively. Morrison played Boyd from seasons two through six, replacing Evan and Luke Kruntchev when producers decided to age up the character.

This isn’t the first time the series has recast a role. Alexandra Krosney played the role of oldest daughter Kristin in season one and was replaced by Amanda Fuller from the second season on.

All the other cast members from the series have signed on, with Kaitlyn Dever (Eve Baxter) still is finalizing a contract to return on a recurring basis.

Last Man Standing returns to its Friday at 8PM timeslot on its new home on Fox starting September 28th.
