Your favorite Showtime series are sticking around a little bit longer. It was revealed at the TCA conference today that Showtime has picked up a seventh and eighth season of their flagship series Homeland (with a sixth already ordered), and a fifth of their hit drama Ray Donovan.
Homeland star Claire Danes is signed on for all eight seasons, along with showrunner Alex Gansa. Homeland will return to the United States after two seasons abroad, and the upcoming sixth season will focus on their U.S. presidential election.
Halfway through its fourth season, Ray Donovan will be back for a 12-episode fifth season, along with star Liev Schreiber and probably most – if not all – the cast returning as well. Ray Donovan is up for four Emmys next month.
