Up, up, and go away! The CBS drama Supergirl has been renewed for a second season, although it will shift to sister network the CW. This puts all of Greg Berlanti’s superhero series onto the same network. Also, it has been reported that production will move from Los Angeles to Vancouver, so all the series are produced in the same city as well.
Supergirl debuted to strong ratings the fall on CBS, but tapered off halfway through the season. However, adding DVR play into ratings, the series averaged a 2.4 in the 18-49 and around 10 million viewers per week.
The now CW series stars Melissa Benoist, Calista Flockhart, Mehcad Brooks, and Chyler Leigh, among others.
