The DC Extended Universe added another Spider-Man alumni to its cast.
The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Willem Dafoe has been cast in Justice League Part One. Dafoe becomes the second actor from the 2002 Spider-Man film to join the DCEU, weeks after it was announced J.K. Simmons had been cast as Commissioner Jim Gordon.
Dafoe’s role in Justice League is being kept a secret at this point in time. What is known, however, is that he will be playing a good guy (as opposed to the villainous role of Green Goblin in Spider-Man) and that he will appear in both Justice League Part One and Part Two.
Justice League Part One began production last week and is slated to release November 17, 2017. Part Two is slated to release June 14, 2019.
