In a rare move, Bravo has renewed their series Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce for three more seasons, meaning the series will at least air through its fifth season. The Lisa Edelstein series has been a hit for the network, averaging a 0.3 in the 18-49 demo and averaging 765,000 viewers.
In a statement made by Jeff Wachtel, NBCUniversal Cable COO, said, “With Marti and Lisa leading our stellar writers and cast, GG2D is a show that captures an important slice of the zeitgeist. And with this remarkable three season pickup, it will be a show that audiences can discover and enjoy forever.”
The series was Edelstein’s first starring role after she left the Fox series House after seven seasons. The second season just finished airing in February, with season three to debut this winter.
