It was announced over the weekend that streaming service Netflix has renewed Marvel series Jessica Jones for a second season and comedy series Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt for a third.
It doesn’t come as much of a surprise that either series was renewed, with Jessica Jones earning a 93% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and Kimmy Schmidt receiving a 95%.
Kimmy Schmidt Co-creator Tina Fey says Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) will face “deeper emotional and life issues” as she continues to put her past behind her.
Neither series has a confirmed air date for their new seasons, but the second season of Kimmy Schmidt is set to hit Netflix on April 15th.
