It was a good news/bad news day for a few TNT shows. The cable network has canceled second season series Legends (starring Sean Bean) and frosh series Agent X (starring Sharon Stone) and Public Morals.
The good news came in the form of the network renewing Major Crimes for a 13-episode fifth season. While the number is lower than previous seasons (other than the first), the show usually gets a small back order later in the year.
TNT also renewed The Librarians for a 10-episode season. The series starring Rebecca Romijn and features original movie star Noah Wyle in a recurring role, has been a steady performer this year, averaging over 2 million viewers per week.
