The first teaser trailer for next summer’s Star Trek Beyond was released today. It features a new look from new director Justin Lin (Fast & Furious franchise), with the lens flare and bright colors of the Abrams’ films gone, replaced with a grittier, darker look.
Back for the third go around are Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, John Cho, Anton Yelchin, Deep Roy, and Karl Urban. They are joined this time by Idris Elba, Sofia Boutella, Joe Taslim, and Lydia Wilson.
Star Trek Beyond hits theaters July 22nd.
