It was a good day for two Showtime dramas, as the premium cable network announced renewals for Homeland and The Affair. It will be the sixth season for the former series, while the third for the latter.
After a creative dip in Homeland’s third season, the fourth and fifth seasons have been heralded in acclaim. The fifth season has been drawing around 1.5 million viewers per week, with The Affair hitting around 800,000 per week.
Expect both series to return in Q4 of 2016. Homeland and The Affair have two more episodes each to air this season.
