Yesterday, AMC released the first trailer for their 10-episode docu-series 4th and Loud. The series stars Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, founding members of KISS and new owners of the Los Angeles KISS, an expansion football team in the Arena Football League.
Along with additional owners such as long-time KISS manager Doc McGhee and managing partner/owner Brett Bouchy (formerly of the Orlando Predators), the series will follow players and coaches throughout the course of the Arena Football League’s 18-game season. The team marks the return of professional football to Los Angeles since the departures of the NFL’s L.A. Raiders (1982-1994) and L.A. Rams (1946-1994), and the folding of the previous Arena Football franchise, the Los Angeles Avengers (2000-2009).
At the time of the trailer’s release, the KISS are 3-12 and, remarkably, one game out of a playoff spot–a far cry from the championship guarantee that Simmons promised in the teaser trailer.
4th and Loud will premiere on AMC on Tuesday, August 12th at 9 P.M. EST/8 P.M. CST.
