As the production of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has been in production for a few weeks, another actor has been added to the cast.
Deadline.com reports that Scoot McNairy (Halt and Catch Fire, Non-Stop, Argo) has been cast for the film. Warner Bros has not confirmed the casting but both Deadline and The Wrap report that an inside source confirmed the casting. The source claims that they were “sworn to secrecy” about McNairy’s role and that a representative from Warner Bros declined to comment.
The casting reunites McNairy with Argo co-star Ben Affleck (Bruce Wayne/Batman). He joins the cast that includes returning stars Henry Cavill (Clark Kent/Superman), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White), Diane Lane (Martha Kent) and features newcomers Gal Gadot (Diana Prince/Wonder Woman), Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), Jeremy Irons (Alfred Pennyworth), Tao Okamoto (Mercy Graves), Ray Fisher (Victor Stone/Cyborg), Jason Momoa (Arthur Curry/Aquaman), Holly Hunter and Callan Mulvey.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is directed by Zack Snyder and will be released on May 6th, 2016.
