Autumn Electric, a fun indie-rock band based out of Seattle, WA has released their new album Make Me A Tree, which should wow fans of indie-rock or folk-rock.
Featuring Michael Trew on lead vocals and Naomi Smith featured on harmony and lead vocals, all ten tracks are masterfully put together with lyrics and instruments that are almost all mesmerizing and hypnotic.
The members of Autumn Electric clearly have a strong unity and perform strong as one unit. The guitars, piano, and drums all compliment the soothing vocals, with everything flowing very cohesively. Tracks like “Raccoons” and “Icicle Valley” are just a few of the standouts of an album full of them.
The band currently consists of Trew (vocals, guitars, flute), Smith (vocals, keyboard, melodica, glockenspiel), Max Steiner (bass, guitars), and Chris Barrios (drums).
Even better, proceeds from the album help benefit charity. From Autumn Electric’s page: “We are currently donating half of the profits from Make Me a Tree to The Healing Center (on Roosevelt, Seattle) and Grief Place in Wenatchee, WA. Both are non profit grief and recovery centers where people can get free or inexpensive help and therapy while going through the loss of a loved one. Thank you for supporting the band and the cause of these centers.”
