Six weeks ago we brought you the news that Lifetime had canceled dramedy Drop Dead Diva after four successful seasons. We also informed you that producers of the series were shopping the series to other networks. Well it seems as though Lifetime, the show’s original network, is the one picking up the series.
Deadline broke the news earlier, with sources stating that “the two sides [producer Sony and Lifetime] found a framework that made continuing Drop Dead Diva feasible for both of them.”
The series should return in June, around the same time as previous seasons.
