The CW Network announced today that it has given early renewals for Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, and breakout hit Arrow. The deal signals that the three biggest shows on the network will be back in fall of 2013.
The pickup means that Supernatural will be back for its ninth season. The ‘supernatural’ drama stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, who recently have signed new multi-year deals.
The Vampire Diaries, easily the new staple for the CW, will be back for its fifth season. The drama stars Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, and Ian Somerhalder. The series ranks the highest in the key demographics that the CW looks at.
Arrow, following the network’s previous superhero drama (Smallville) is currently the network’s most watched show in total viewers. The series stars Stephen Amell and Katie Cassidy.
