Two sophomore series have found their fates over the past week. TNT has canceled cop drama Memphis Beat, while SyFy has renewed their cop drama Haven.
- Memphis Beat: “TNT has decided not to pick up a third season of Memphis Beat,” said a TNT spokesperson. “The network thanks everyone involved in the production of Memphis Beat for their work on the series, including the great cast and crew. TNT wishes everyone the best.”
- Haven: “The superb cast, led by Emily Rose, Eric Balfour and Lucas Bryant, along with the terrific production team, delivered a successful season in both critical acclaim and rising viewership. We’re very excited to see this compelling series return for a third season of supernatural intrigue in 2012,” said Mark Stern, President of Original Content for the network.
