Here’s some TV to talk about:
- Lisa Edelstein will not be returning to House this fall after the studio asked her to take a pay cut. She said in a statement, “After much consideration, I am moving onward with a combination of disappointment at leaving behind a character I have loved playing for seven years and excitement of the new opportunities in acting and producing that lie ahead.”
- CBS has decided to cancel Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior and opt to bring back CSI: NY for next year. It is believed that next year will be the final season for CSI: NY and rumor has it that it will come back for a shortened 13 or 16-episode season compared to the usual 22. Suspect Behavior never took of for CBS, mainly due to the fact no one knew the difference between the new series and the original.
- ABC has decided to keep comedy Cougar Town sitting on the bench until midseason. Personally, I’m surprised the show’s even back at all.
