Get ready for the end as NBC announced today that Friday Night Lights will start its fifth and final season on April 15th at 8 PM. The fifth season is just finishing up on DirecTV and, as usual, been praised tremendously by critics.
The show has been outstanding every season (except for season two, although it was still good), and the final season promises to be just as powerful on the football field as off. Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton continue to anchor a series that is not only a good drama, but also anchors a strong family as well.
The final 13 episodes of the show will be hard to watch, not because I am sad about saying goodbye, its because I know there are many more stories to tell in Dillon, Texas.
