Alana de la Garza joins “Law & Order: Los Angeles”

Fans of the original Law & Order that haven’t given Law & Order: Los Angeles a chance yet should. Alana de la Garza who played ADA Connie Rubirosa for the past four seasons on the mothership series is coming to LA to become the new DDA under Jonah Dekker (Terrence Howard).

Series creator Dick Wolf stated, “I hope fans of the ‘mothership’ will be happy to see the return of Alana’s character, Connie Rubirosa, one of the longest-running assistant prosecutors on Law & Order. Alana has a huge following and it will be interesting to follow her character as she comes to terms with Los Angeles justice.”

What do you guys think? Does this help tie the two shows together? Or is NBC just trying to salvage what’s left of the doomed series? Sound off!
