My Thoughts:
What the hell? Christopher Nolan gets snubbed AGAIN for Best Director??? If there were still only 5 movies nominated for Best Picture, Inception would be one of them –  so why wouldn’t he get a nomination? If not for Inception (which is arguably his best work), then at least for his amazing body of work! Memento, Insomnia, The Prestige, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight… I mean, Chris Nolan was the first one to turn a comic book movie into an actual film! The reason we have 10 best picture nominations in the first place is because of the uproar that followed the 2008 Oscars when The Dark Knight wasn’t nominated. This is ridiculous.

The only other thing I am mad about is Ryan Gosling being snubbed for a Best Actor nomination for his work in Blue Valentine. The best male lead performance I have seen this year, hands down.

That is all. I will post my predictions within the next couple of weeks.

So what do you guys think? Anything missing from these nominations?
