NBC picks up “Wonder Woman” from David E. Kelley

After all networks originally passed on David E. Kelley’s script to bring Wonder Woman to television, NBC has come back and picked up Wonder Woman now that the NBC-Comcast merger has been approved, meaning NBC has a little bit more money to spend.

Now all that we need is someone to take the lead of the series. The new Wonder Woman is a corporate executive and modern woman, Kelley has reported, so the network is probably looking for someone that is both beautiful and easy to kick butt (think of someone along the lines of Jennifer Garner).

This is big news for NBC, who has struggled the past few years ratings wise. Many have wondered if Comcast is going to wipe the slate clean of all NBC shows and start with new programming, and this new Wonder Woman program could send the network in that direction.

Keep it here for all development news on Wonder Woman. Who do you guys think they should cast as Wonder Woman? Sound off!
