Creator and star of the original series The Office, it has been reported that Ricky Gervais will reprise his role as David Brent in an upcoming episode of our The Office. He will cross paths with Michael Scott (Steve Carell) on the January 27th episode in the cold open.

Details of the cold open are still under tight confidentiality, but one can assume that the episode will be full of allusions to the original series and full of laughs. Hopefully its long enough to make longtime fans of both series happy.
