Warner Bros. has released the details on the plot behind the much anticipated film, The Hangover: Part II. Many have wondered how they could top the first film, which centered around the mishaps of a bachelor party gone wrong in Vegas, but insiders say it is safe to say that this sequel will pull out all the stops.
The report from Warner Bros. reveals, “After the unforgettable bachelor party in Las Vegas, Stu is taking no chances and has opted for a safe, subdued pre-wedding brunch. However, things don’t always go as planned.”
“What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but what happens in Bangkok can’t even be imagined,” the statement reveals. This possibly could work well for the tagline in early promotions as it sets up the new location and that everyone expects that this film will be bigger and better than the first.
The cast of The Hangover: Part II include Stu (Ed Helms, The Office), Phil (Bradley Cooper, The A-Team), Alan (Zach Galifianakis, Due Date) and Doug (Justin Bartha, National Treasure). There have been two highly reported cameos in the film as well, the first being Liam Neeson (taking over for Mel Gibson after cast and crew protested his appearance), and the second by former President Bill Clinton.
Are you guys excited about The Hangover: Part II, or do you think the sequel will fail to match the first film? Sound off!
