SyFy cancels “Caprica”, CBS cancels “Medium”

Two sci-fi series have reportedly been canceled. SyFy has shut the doors on the Battlestar Galactica prequel series, Caprica after the first season of the series has drastically underperformed to the network’s expectations. The series takes place almost 60 years prior to Galactica and shows how the human race created the Cylons.

The other series that has bitten the dust is Medium. The series recently took a significant blow, with CBS cutting down the episode order from 22 to 13. Reports now indicate that the network won’t renew the aging series after this season, as ratings have continued to decline this season.
