NBC cancels “Outlaw”

Just days after NBC shelved production on freshman drama Outlaw, the network has officially announced that they are canceling the ratings challenged series that stars Jimmy Smits. After a decent Wednesday premiere, Outlaw debuted in its regular Friday timeslot on September 24th to horrid numbers. The show is averaging around 4.6 million viewers, which is around 6-7 million lower than the timeslot leading Blue Bloods.

If you are one of the few that like the series, the final four episodes of the show will be burned off on Saturdays at 8:00 PM through November 13th.

Sorry Jimmy, maybe you shouldn’t have left your seat on the Supreme Court. Better luck next time…
