The final members of the essential six roles for Law & Order: Los Angeles have been cast. As you have read, Wanda de Jesus was let go as the lieutenant of the squad, now being played by Rachel Ticotin. Her scenes are being filmed now so that they will be ready in two weeks for the premiere.
The big news, however, is the casting of the District Attorney. Veteran actor Peter Coyote is stepping in to play D.A. Jerry Hardin to watch over Peter Morales (Alfred Molina) and Joe Dekker (Terrence Howard). Coyote has been seen on television shows like The 4400, Brothers & Sisters, and FlashForward.
Even with the delays, the series will premiere on Wednesday, September 29th at 10:00 PM on NBC.
