After four seasons, TBS has canceled its sports centered sitcom, My Boys. This season was plagued with change as comedian Jim Gaffigan pulled out of the series and ratings had dropped to a point where TBS did not see financial sense in renewing it. However, This comes to more bad news for stars Jordana Spiro and Kyle Howard, who had to pull out of their new pilots, Love Bites and Perfect Couples, respectively.
The series centered around PJ (Spiro) who was a sports columnist that followed the Chicago Cubs. The series focused on how she was always one of the guys and tried to juggle her professional career with her personal romantic life. The first season of the series featured 22 episodes, while seasons two through four had nine each, ending the series with 49 episodes.
While the series was never as edgy as It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the show was popular among critics and was a welcomed favorite in the Chicago area.
