Will Ferrell couldn’t hold on to the #1 spot for Friday, as new films The Expendables and Eat Pray Love take the first two spots. Ferrell’s film, The Other Guys ended up at third, with Scott Pilgrim vs. the World debuted in fourth, and Inception at fifth.

Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham and Jet Li led an all-star cast for The Expendables that featured cameos by Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger. The film brought in $13.25 million on Friday, with estimates hovering around $30 million for the overall weekend.

The new Julia Roberts film, Eat Pray Love took in $8.5 million, which seems about right as the film didn’t receive overwhelming advertising or as many public appearances as The Expendables put out.

The Other Guys brought in $5.6 million, Scott Pilgrim had $4.54 million, and Inception struck with $3.3 million.
