Sony Pictures Home Entertainment announced the details for the DVD and Blu-ray release of The Karate Kid. The extras on the DVD will be 2 featurettes on the making of the film and a Justin Bieber music video (for some reason). The Blu-ray will include this along with production diaries with Jackie Chan, an alternate ending, and a Karate Kid Interactive map of China.

The film will be released on October 5th of this year. The DVD artwork is attached, stay tuned for the Blu-ray artwork.
