The other major role for Law & Order: Los Angeles has been cast in the form of Alfred Molina. The star of The Da Vinci Code and Spider-Man 2 is taking his first long-term television gig since Ladies Man, a sitcom that aired on CBS from 1999-2001. Molina will play Deputy District Attorney Peter Morales and joins Skeet Ulrich, who was the first member of the series cast earlier in the month.
This isn’t Molina’s first time in the Law & Order universe, as he guest starred as a perverted murderer in the crossover episodes from Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Law & Order: Trial by Jury. Many of the stars of the other L&O series have guest starred in a series and then came on to star later on. Those include the late Jerry Orbach, Diane Neal, Courtney B. Vance, and Anthony Anderson among others.
Law & Order: Los Angeles takes over the original show’s timeslot that it held for over a decade starting Wednesday, September 22nd at 10:00 PM on NBC.
