As it was hinted in the season finale, Amy Ryan will be heading back to Scranton sometime this season on The Office. And while star Steve Carell is leaving the show at the end of the season, it doesn’t mean that he still can’t have some fun with Holly. Not much is known about Ryan’s return, just the fact that she will be back in multiple episodes, reuniting the former lovers. Ryan was last seen in the fifth year, however, numerous references were made about her last season.

The Office will be entering its seventh season this fall, and with Carell’s departure, will also be setting up a story arc in who will succeed him as branch manager at Dunder Mifflin…that is, if the show gets renewal again. Come to think of it, maybe Holly will be the one coming in to replace Michael?
