Season five will probably be the last for the outstanding series, Friday Night Lights, but you will get one more chance to see your favorite characters as stars Taylor Kitsch and Adrianne Palicki will return for guest appearances for the fifth season. Kitsch was part of the main cast throughout the fourth season, while Palicki was filming movies so she didn’t make an appearance. This comes after Zach Gilford also announced he’d return to the series.

DirecTV airs the series in the fall while NBC airs the series in the summer.
