There have been numerous reports circulating that ABC is considering remaking their first production with J.J. Abrams, the hit Jennifer Garner action series, Alias. However, they plan on doing the show without Garner or any of the regular cast. They also plan on doing without the Rambaldi aspect of the show, that gave the series the mystery aspect like Lost.

Many of the former stars including Michael Vartan and Greg Grunberg said the series would not work with Garner, as she made the series. But, if you remember, NBC already has a show similar to Alias coming out from Abrams called Undercovers. While the series is only in the preliminary stages, I for one hope the show never sees day, unless it is with the original cast.
