“Lost” finale does well for ABC

Although the ratings were not as high as ABC had hoped, Lost finished its series run with 13.5 million viewers throughout the broadcast from 9:00-11:30 PM. After 121 episodes, the series took over ABC’s Sunday lineup, running a 2-hr retrospective from 7:00-9:00 right before the finale.

CBS and NBC didn’t have much to work with, however CBS’s ACM Presents Brooks & Dunn: The Last Rodeo special averaged a little above 10 million viewers from 8:00-10:00 PM and NBC’s The Celebrity Apprentice had a little over 9.3 million viewers averaged through 9:00-11:00 PM. NBC had a little help with Bret Michaels showing up after his recent health scare.
