A day before CBS unveils their fall lineup, word has come out on the cancellation and renewals of certain shows. Gone are Miami Medical, Numb3rs, The New Adventures of Old Christine, Gary Unmarried, Cold Case, Accidentally on Purpose, and Ghost Whisperer. The only real surprise out of those is the Whisperer, which still draws reasonable ratings.

The only two new renewals are Medium and Rules of Engagement. This will be the seventh season for the former series and the fifth for the latter.
