“Power Rangers” bought back by Haim Saban

For all you young fans, or even those young at heart, it is time to travel back to the 1990s. Haim Saban, the company that brought you The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers has bought back the franchise from Disney. Parents haven’t been too impressed with the Power Rangers franchise since they bought it a few years ago, especially with moms.

New episodes will air on Nickelodeon in 2011 with the original producer from the first series. The original three seasons of MMPR has aired on ABC Kids this year with dissatisfaction from fans of the original series. Disney (the owner of ABC Kids) added new comic book elements and a new opening theme to the series that deterred fans who grew up with the show.
