Sad news for the fans of the ABC Family sitcom 10 Things I Hate About You: the series has been canceled. The season will wrap up after it’s twentieth episode. Series started out to the network’s highest ratings for a sitcom, but after it’s hiatus, the ratings have slumped to deep lows for the network, reaching under 1 million viewers per episode.

10 Things I Hate About You is a remake of the popular film that starred Julia Stiles (The Prince & Me, Save the Last Dance) and the late Heath Ledger (The Dark Knight, Brokeback Mountain). The television series features Larry Miller (Boston Legal, 8 Simple Rules) in the same role as in the film. The series stars Lindsey Shaw (Ned’s Classified School Survival Guide, Aliens in America) and Ethan Peck (That ’70s Show).
