Original Airdate: April 5, 2010 at 9:30 PM
Synopsis: Jeff and Audrey (Partrick Warburton and Megyn Price) try to help their friend Liz feel self-confident about her love life lying that Jeff would sleep with her if he wasn’t married. Jennifer (Bianca Kajlich) is starting a new diet so she can lose weight before her wedding, making it hard for Adam (Oliver Hudson) to enjoy food he likes. Finally, to see why Timmy (Adhir Kalyan) does community service, Russell (David Spade) decides to join him.
Review: The series in it’s fourth season shows no signs of slowing down in this episode. The cast is full of talented actors and even more talented writing crew. The highlight of the series are Warburton and Price’s characters and what they had to deal with in Audrey’s friend Liz. The side stories aren’t as strong, although the scenes with Spade and Kalyan are also just as funny. The only problem with the series is creating strong storylines for Hudson and Kajilich as the series continues to progress. While they have some funny bits here and there, their characters are not as well developed as the rest.
The series has been a midseason replacement the past two years, but remains a consistent player in CBS’s comedy lineup. This season, however, the show airs at 8:30 PM most nights and isn’t as strong as spot as it used to air. But hopefully episodes like this proves CBS to give the series a full season commitment for next year, especially amidst Charlie Sheen’s recent problems with Two and a Half Men.
